Ever wondered what a Token Engineering job entails — for real? Meet Kirthi, one of our TE Academy Alumni. 🥳
Kirthi studied Physics and Management, and has a background in operational research. He uses data and statistics to answer and solve complex problems in an organization.
"I consider myself a TE in the making. There are so many dimensions to unearth, I will forever be a student. (…) What brought me to Token Engineering is sheer curiosity to connect the dots and learn how problems can be solved in complex dynamic systems. I am happy to have ventured out of my comfort zone."
By the end of the year, Kirthi plans to launch the MVP of NetZero Protocol funded by a Chainlink Social Grant. “I owe the confidence to TE Academy. I’ll also be back in the class room at TE to learn more.”

His encouragement to aspiring TEs: Stay curious, consistent and patient. Consistency is the key to learn something new. Patience with self is key, there is definitely a reward at the end of the journey.

Meet our friends at TEC!
If you’ve been in our community for a while, you might have heard about TE Commons, aka TEC. TEC is the community to fund and manage funds for the Token Engineering common good. We share the same goals, and since the TE Commons started up, we have collaborated in numerous ways.
TE Commons’ mission statement:
- Our goal is to become a Schelling Point for the token engineering community.
- Our economic layer will fund projects that discover, develop and proliferate the best practices for engineering safe tokenized economies, while aligning our collective success with the individual benefit of token holders.
- Our social layer is even more important, as it will unite the token engineering field around the ethical principles, standards, tools and methodologies that emerge as this nascent field advances.
